1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Studio Aurora ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Studio Aurora provides web design, web development, and related digital services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each project will be outlined in a separate project proposal or contract agreed upon by both parties before work begins.

3. Project Process

Our typical project process includes:

Initial consultation and project scoping
Proposal and contract agreement
Design and development phases with client feedback
Testing and quality assurance
Launch and handover
Post-launch support (as agreed)

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your project contract. Generally:

A deposit is required before work begins (typically 50%)
Final payment is due upon project completion, before launch
Additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately
Late payments may incur additional fees as specified in your contract

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful project delivery, clients agree to:

Provide necessary content, assets, and information in a timely manner
Respond to requests for feedback within agreed timeframes
Designate a primary point of contact for the project
Ensure they have rights to all content provided to us

6. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment:

You will own the final deliverables created specifically for your project
We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio and marketing materials
We retain ownership of any pre-existing tools, frameworks, or code libraries used
Third-party assets (fonts, images, plugins) are subject to their respective licenses

7. Revisions and Changes

The number of revision rounds included will be specified in your project contract. Additional revisions or changes to the agreed scope may incur additional charges. Significant changes to project direction after work has begun may require a revised proposal.

8. Project Delays

Project timelines depend on both parties meeting their obligations. Delays caused by late client feedback, content, or decisions may extend the project timeline. We will communicate proactively about any delays on our end and work to minimize impact.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate a project with written notice. Upon termination, the client is responsible for payment for all work completed to date. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. We will provide all completed work upon receipt of final payment.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We do not guarantee specific business results from our work, as many factors outside our control affect outcomes.

11. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential and will not share it with third parties except as necessary to complete the project (e.g., with hosting providers). We expect clients to maintain confidentiality regarding our processes and pricing.

12. Warranties

We warrant that our work will be performed professionally and will function as specified. We provide a 30-day warranty period after launch to address any bugs or issues with our work. This does not cover issues caused by third-party services, client modifications, or factors outside our control.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through appropriate legal channels.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Existing projects will continue under the terms agreed at the time of contract signing.
